The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for all aspects of the sales function within his/her particular geographic region. This includes: planning and implementation of strategies, marketing, sales and customer satisfaction within the defined territory. He/she must be knowledgeable in all areas of water treatment including boiler water, cooling water, process water, wastewater and potable drinking water chemicals.
For this region, experience with heavy industry is important, Power Generation would be a plus. The previous representative is retiring, and the region is in good shape. This is a perfect role for a person who knows the technical attributes of water treatment and wants to manage their territory without a lot of big company nonsense.
This person will be responsible for the Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania region, calling on industrial clients. Traveling throughout this region to service and sell will require frequent travel, applicants must have a valid driver’s license.
