As a Key Account Manager for the Midwest US/CA, you will work to improve your clients' operations, by using the best technology to measure and control their systems. This role will have a specific focus on the Fiberline Processes, but may also be applied throughout the Paper Production areas.  This will require fostering an environment of collaboration between BTG and the customer. In this position, you will work closely with our clients, and the BTG/Capstone Team. 

The location for this position is flexible within the Midwest of US and Canada.  Optimal locations would be near an airport.  There are two openings, and the territory will be determined based on the candidates selected.  Relocation, if necessary, is an option.

 

Responsibilities

§  Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.

§  Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels for new technology and/or new applications that will increase sales.

§  Support commercial launch of new technologies and applications into the territory.

§  Make recommendations to improve accuracy, reliability and usefulness of products.

§   Build relationships with key personnel.

§   Ensure safe working habits.

§   Continually learn and improve.

§   Engage in problem solving and value generation for customers.

Qualifications

§   BS in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent

§   5 years of experience in the pulp and paper industries

§   Strong technical and analytical skills

§   Project management experience

§   Excellent communication skills

§   Ability to work safely

§   Driven to succeed

§   Focused on exceeding customer's expectations

§   Authorized to work in the United States.

This position will require up to 75% overnight travel.

The compensation package will consist of base salary with an annual performance incentive.  Salary will depend on a combination of education and industry experience.  BTG also offers: compensation for all business and home office expenses, $800/mo car allowance, health, dental, short and long term disability, life insurance, accidental death, optional life, vision, and 401K retirement savings contribution.
